The Federation invites suitable consultant(s) to conduct Human Resource Needs assessment and Capacity review with a view to enhancing the quality of its service delivery.  This is in line with the Federation’s long-term strategic objectives and in line with the changing nature and management demands in the global sporting landscape.

The scope of the assignment would involve:

  1. Review staffing Policy of the GFF and Football Hotel
  2. Reviewing previous staff view reports with a view to identifying pertinent recommendations.
  3. The consultant would review the operations of the GFF/Football Hotel with a view to improving its Human Resources in line with best practices.
  4. Identify the strengths and weaknesses human resources capacity to align it with the strategic objectives of the GFF/Football Hotel.
  5. Evaluate each department, reviewing policies, practices and processes with a focus on key department delivery areas.
  6. Assess the present means of recruiting/engaging the staff.
  7. Assessing the Human Resources vis-à-vis organogram, Job description and capacity required for each role.
  8. Develop an annual staff appraisal mechanism for the federation
  9. Make recommendations with a view to ensuring the Federation has the right staffing to deliver on its strategic objectives.

Qualification Requirements

The following qualifications and experience are required and must:

  • be legally registered for at least 5 years
  • have lead consultant with a very strong background in Sports Management and Corporate Governance
  • have at least a Master’s Degree. A higher-level degree in Sports Management would be an added advantage
  • have served in a sporting organization in the last 10 years with at least 5 years in an apex sporting organization at the level of senior management
