The U-17 Female Baby Scorpions secured a stunning 3-0 win away to Sierra Leone in the Preliminary Round qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup – the match took place at Bo Stadium in Bo, Sierra Leone.
All the goals were scored in the first half with Ola Buwaro, captain Aminata Camara and Cathrine Jatta all marking their names on the score-sheet.
There could have even been more goals in the second-half but for harsh weather conditions including torrential rain and heavy winds. Head Coach Abdoulie Bojang urged the team to preserve the clean-sheet and they duly obliged to record the perfect opening to the qualifiers.
