The Gambia Police Force women’s team, continued their goal scoring frenzy, outclassing rocked bottom Brikama United 5-0 in the domestic first division league on Sunday.

The Police, on 13 points and having scored a whopping 16 goals already this season, went into the break with just a goal separating them from a Brikama side that has only one point to show for their efforts so far. However, they scored four unanswered goals in the second stanza to complete the rout.

Katherine Jatta scored to give her side a 13th minute lead and boy they put on a show in the second half. Fatou Sonko scored a brace in the 57th and 71st minutes to put the game beyond their rivals. Mbassey Darboe added a fourth in stoppage time but there was still time for Ya Abie Sowe to add a fifth deep into injury time.

Elsewhere, Berewuleng defeated Abuko United by a lone goal to nil.

Meanwhile, in the second division, Jeshwang United thrashed Prisons 5-2.
