He congratulated him for a smart job by writing up his story while in football. Kaba told Cherno that the GFF offices are always opened to him whenever he wants to come on board. He stated that football administration in the country means collective efforts and called on Cherno and his colleagues that formerly played for The Gambia to come forward and be part of the game at home.

He said although resources are scarce in The Gambia, the GFF under his leadership will continue to strive until such a day that the country would be seen at both continental and global competitions. He cited the near missed at the 2019 AFCON final matches as a beacon of hope for The Gambia if things had to turned out another way.
