President Bajo Congratulates CRR For Their Comportment

The PRESIDENT of the Gambia Football Federation Mr LAMIN KABBA BAJO has congratulated the stakeholders in the Central River Region for their decent comportment in the manner in which they have conducted themselves during the Football Associations elective Congress held over the weekend in Bansang.

Mr BAJO first thanked the Regional FA for the invitation extended to him and delegation for attending the Congress. ‘I first thank you for the invitation. We are very much honored to be here with you today and I want to thank you for the smooth and cordial atmosphere in which you conducted yourselves here. In fact, I am jealous of what I have seen. No fighting, animosity and I really wished that all the other Associations and even the Federation to take sample of this’.

Mr BAJO congratulated the re elected President Numukunda Kanyi for the trust and confidence the stakeholders in CRR bestowed on him. ‘He is a role model, Frank, straight forward and always speak his mind with respect’. He said the GFF is encouraged to further work with NumuKunda because ‘he cares for his region and goes to the extent of pre-financing their programs’.

The GFF PRESIDENT urged the CRR Football stakeholders to unite together for a common purpose and further advised them to collectively galvanize and combine their efforts with the GFF to realizing the mandate of the current leadership as enshrined in the KABBA led four year Strategic Development Plan.

Mr BAJO was accompanied to the CRR FA elective Congress by 3rd Vice PRESIDENT Martin GOMEZ and Deputy General Secretary Abdou SALAAM Jammeh and Human Resources Manager BABOUCARR CAMARA.
