Tujereng FC and Busumbala Sanjonding continue to lead their respective groups in the West Coast Regional third division league.
Tujereng lead Group A with 19 points after eight matches, two ahead of second place Berewuleng FC. Kunkujang Friends FC are a further 5 points behind with 12 in 3rd position while Tanji United and Black/White continue to struggle at the opposite end of the 10-team table.
Elsewhere in Group B, Busumbala Sanjonding opened up a one point lead with 21 points from nine matches with second place Greater Tomorrow on 20 points. The surprised conquers of Brikama United in Gambia Football Federation FF Cup GCAA/BIA are 3rd with 19 points, just 2 points from leaders Busumbala. Former second division side Lamin United are disappointedly on 4th position with 15 points while at the foot of the 10-team table is Kombo Kerewan with just 4 points and Sifoe FC is a point above them with only 5 points collected from a possible 27.
Matches continue as the league gets to the business end of determining the team that will represent the region in the qualifiers for the Gambia Football Federation Division Two league.
