The President of the Gambia Football Federation Lamin Kabba Bajo is scheduled by CAF to preside over the commissioning of Egypt VS Mali in Match Day One of the U-20 Total Africa Cup Of Nations, Zambia 2017 which kicks off on Sunday 26th February in Lusaka.
Mr Bajo is among top CAF Officials at the 20th edition of the CAF U-20 Tournament hosted by Zambia. As an integral member of the CAF U-20 Organizing Committee, the GFF Boss is further expected to commission other Group A matches as the tournament progresses.
Mr Bajo alongside seven other CAF Match Commissioners are based in Lusaka where Group A Teams are camped. Hosts Zambia will open the tournament with Guinea on Sunday 26th February at the Heroes stadium in Lusaka at 15:00hrs. Egypt and Mali plays in the second game while Group B opens their account with Senegal and Sudan in Ndola on Monday 27th February at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in the early kick off before Cameroon engages South Africa on the same day at 18:00hrs.
GFF Publicity and Marketing Officer Bakary B Baldeh is also at the tournament invited by CAF as one of four media officers charged with the tournament’s media arrangements. BB is based in Ndola with Group B Teams opening their schedule on the 27th February. Gambian assistant referee Sulayman Sosseh is also on the tournament list.
The final will be played on the 12th March in Lusaka.
