Women’s League Champions Interior FC are contesting for a double in this year’s 2016/17 domestic league and FF Cup competition when they square off Immigration at a later final to be decided by the GFF Competitions Department.
The security outfit won their final match against Brikama United to claim league title at the expense of arch rivals GAF who also trailed Abuko United with a slender margin just before the completion of the season.
Interior will again rub shoulders with Immigration FC at FF Cup competition final when they beat GAF two nil at a jam parked Sere Kunda East Mini stadium over the weekend. Immigration however drew with League Two Champions Red Scorpions on Sunday afternoon at a one all draw and thus proceed to the final taking advantage of the result in their home leg which ended goal less.
The final is scheduled to take place on the 20th May, 2017 and the venue is expected to be announced later.
