The Gambia Football Federation has dispatched a letter of condolence to the Guinea Football Federation on the death of Nine Players from Club Etoile De Guinea which is as a result of tragic accident that occurred on the 4th March, 2020.
“The late players died at an untimely period and as such we at the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) would like to extend our heartfelt message of condolence and sympathy to the entire family and friends of the late star players, for the loss of their loved ones”, the release stated.
Further writing on the behalf of the GFF, General Secretary Lamin M Jassey assured Guinea of Gambia’s solidarity with them in this difficult moment. “Be further assured of our continuous prayers for the departed souls and icons of Guinean but also African football who will always remain in our hearts”, he concluded.
