The President of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Lamin Kaba Bajo has assured the Queen Scorpions of the Federation’s continues support ahead of their second leg encounter against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon at the Independence Stadium tomorrow.
President Bajo made these remarks while addressing the players after their final training session at the Independence Stadium on Tuesday evening. “I want to tell you that we’re behind you, we’ve trust and confidence in you. We went to Cameroon, we didn’t get what we wanted and we’re back home we can overturn the result because in football everything is possible,” he said.
“God forbid no matter what happens you’re the ones we have. We are building a team; you’ve registered success that never happened. Whatever happens play with confidence it’s a game they’re your mates, they’re not better than you they were just lucky to win you in their country and we can do the same.”
