Gambia National U-17 Team ( Baby Scorpions ) will reconvene on Monday September 3 at the Football Hotel in Yundum for a three day camping session ahead of their eventual trip to WAFU Zone A U-17 Tournament in Senegal.

Coach Lie Bojang and his charges are winding up preparation in meeting up their task to fulfill the Gambia Football Federation’s desire to qualify the Baby Scorpions to the Total Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in Tanzania 2019.

The Gambia is joined with Mali and Liberia and will open its account on Sunday September 9th at the Stade Alassane Djigo at 6:30pm.

Team Manager Sadibou Kamaso said he is very optimistic of a bright performance from the Baby Scorpions while seeking for support from all Gambians for the National team’s triumphs and eventual qualification to the CAF Tournament in 2019.

Mr Kamaso, a GFF Executive Committee member thanked the Football leadership for the adequate provision of logistics for the team which according to him has helped the team in the local training in a smooth and convenient manner. ‘ I am very proud of Coach Lie Bojang and his team of technicians for the dedication and hard work towards the WAFU Zonals’.
