Gambia National U-20 Young Scorpions’ preparations for WAFU Zone A Tournament is building momentum as Four practice matches are been lined up as part of honing their skills ahead of the much anticipated Sub Regional tournament in Thies, Senegal.
Head Coach Mattar M’Boge said the four friendlies will help reinforce and measure the team’s physical and mental strength and to further adapt to their tactical philosophy.
Team Manager Pa Suwareh Faye noted the importance of test matches saying “It would help us very well in our preparations during the tournament“.
The team will face off Nema United and Busumbala on Thursday 22nd October 2020 with the first to be played at 8am in the morning and the latter at 4pm at the NTTC in Yumdum.
The team will observe a recovery session on Friday before hosting League Div One side Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) before taking on GAMTEL on Saturday 24th October, 2020 at 8am and 4pm respectively.
