Ahead of their opening leg of the Africa Women’s Cup Of Nations Qualifier away to Burkina Faso slated for April 7th in Ouagadougou, the Gambia National Women’s Scorpions will leave Banjul on Sunday April 1st to Morocco where they will stay over for a three days training camp in Cassablanca.
During their brief stop over in Morocco, the Women’s Scorpions will hone their skills in a test match with their counterparts, Morocco Women’s National team slated for 2nd April in Cassablanca. The team will continue its technical preparations in the North African country until the 4th April when they will fly out to Burkina Faso ahead of their schedule game on the 7th April at the August 4th Stadium in Ouagadougou.
The team is expected back home in the Gambia shortly for their return leg slated for Tuesday April 10th at the Independence Stadium in Bakau at 4:30pm
The Gambian team comprises 20 players and 8 Officials which include GFF 3rd Vice President Martin Gomez as Head of delegation.
