New comers Waa Banjul have made revealing headline on Tuesday when the capital based youngsters shocked Real De Banjul FC with two goals at their back when they faced off each other at the Banjul Mini Stadium on Match Day Five ( Rescheduled) League Div One Competition. The win has moved the Banjul side to second on 13 points just one adrift of leaders Gamtel that still maintain the pole position on 14 points after their goalless draw at home to Fortune FC on Tuesday.
The Whites had their Goal keeper and Captain Ebrima Jarju sent off during the proceedings for an infringement against Pa Lamin Sowe who had a goal scoring chance.

Waa Banjul opened their scoring through Lamin Sowe following a swift cross from left winger Ebrima Camara and slotted home their first goal 3 minutes into the opening proceedings. Real although pushed for amends but the home side retreated to protect their lead going into the break.

Pa Assan Badjan increased the scoring for Waa Banjul two nil after Ebrima Camara again delivered another teasing cross for Badjan to volley 57 minutes into the RDB netand the stadium turned into a deafening noise cheering for the Banjul based club.

Gaffer Abdou Njie introduced in skillful Modou Salieu Jallow, Yunusa Sowe and Ebrima Jobe to reinforce possession while adding up their numerical advantage over Real.

A delight game to watch ended 2 nil to Waa Banjul and climbing second position on 13 points just one adrift of Gamtel who sits on top with 14 points after their goal less draw to Fortune FC.
