The national women second division league continuous to gather pace with intriguing matches at the weekend. However, the scorelines do not portray the true picture of what transpired at the various grounds with four matches producing just a return of five goals.
The big winners of the weekend were Berewuleng and Future Bi who secured identical 2-0 wins over Brikama United and Jam City respectively. Berewuleng’s win is the more sweet with the fact it came against no opponent than their earth nemesis from the same city, Brikama United.
The other week 13 goal was scored by Raptim as they overcame Jeshwang United 1-0 while Greater Tomorrow and Kinteh’s Football Club shared the spoils in a drab goalless stalemate at the end of the weekend.
