Ahead of the return leg of the Gambia’s home leg to Gabon slated for Monday 16th November 2020, the Scorpions on Saturday have attended to another Covid-19 mandatory test at their Ocean Bay Hotel supervised by certified Health and Medical Officers.
The 4th test for the gallant Scorpions is sanctioned by CAF 48hrs before kick off to establish the status of each player. Previous two tests were done in Libreville, Gabon upon arrival at the Airport and one at the Park Inn Hotel two days before kick off to the Panthers. These two preceded the one done by all players and officials of the team prior to their trip to Gabon earlier on Saturday 7th and Monday 9th Nov.

Meanwhile the team is set for its first training session on Saturday afternoon at the Independence Stadium in Bakau at 4:00hrs behind closed doors.
Coach Tom Saintfiet has further called in froward Modou Barrow, defender Ngine Faye Njie, mid fielder Mattar Ceesay and Kalipha Manneh. The quartet are been invited to fill the void by Ebrima Colley and Dawda Ngum who are been ruled out due to injury and suspension.
