Wiring down to the end of first round of matches in GFF League Div Two Matches, thirteen goals were scored in three matches over the weekend on Saturday with table toppers Sporting Real and Waa Banjul registering eleven goals between them.

League leaders Sporting Real continued their impressive form in their debut season with an emphatic 6-1 mulling of 2nd Infantry Battalion in Soma. With the win, they remain on top of the 16-team table with 33 points while 2nd Infantry is second from bottom with just 13 points, one better than the bottom side Red Hawks who are on 12 points with a game in hand.

In the other game, Waa Banjul made no mistake when they hosted the struggling Brufut United at the Banjul Mini Stadium thumping them 5-0 in a one-sided affair. The capital based team remains hot on the heels of the league leaders on 32 points in second place while Brufut is edging ever closer to the drop zone following their 6-0 annihilation at the hands of Bombada in week fourteen.

Meanwhile, Jambamjelly United lost at home to Serrekunda East Bi 1-0 at the Box Bar in Brikama, sending East Bi seventh position on 20 points while Jam City are languishing at fourteen position with just 14 points from as many matches.
