Referees Course underway at the GFF Hotel

A five day basic training course for Referees opened up on Thursday Dec 7th at the GFF Football Hotel in Yundum.

The training program is earmarked for Referees in the West Coast Region to enhance their skills and capabilities in the arbitration of matches.
The program was presided over by GFF President Lamin Kabba Bajo who also doubles as Chairman of the GFF Referees Committee. Mr Bajo thanked the Referees Committee for the initiative all part of the Federation’s drive to upgrade the abilities of our referees. He challenged the referees to step up more and be able to produce more Bakary Papa Gassamas.

The program is being coordinated by GFF Referee’s Manager Alhagie Adama Mbye and instructors include John Mendy, Bubacarr Jallow and Abdoulie Sowe.

The participants are expected to understand some key and basic knowledge of refereeing.
