Following our decision to continue night matches in the domestic first division, we wish to remind those intending to attend these matches that there are still public health protocols in place across the country that must be observed by all.
This includes the mandatory wearing of facemasks as well as the frequent use of hand sanitisers. The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) would also ensure that there are strict social distancing guidelines observed in terms of the sitting arrangements.
In this regard, Football House would further ensure that all the pavilions will only be allowed to take half of their original capacities. Thus, the price for ticket to access the VIP section of the Stadium is D100:00 (One Hundred Dalasi) while all the other stands, including covered and uncovered are D20:00 (Twenty Dalasi).
However, for those who wouldn’t be able to access the Stadium due to the popularity of the matches and the restrictions in this pandemic and or those outside of The Gambia, the GFF would stream the matches live on our official Facebook page. One game per match day will be broadcast from the Independence Stadium starting with leaders Fortune’s 8:30pm kickoff against Marimoo on Thursday. We will also bring to you Hawks’ match with The Gambia Ports Authority on Friday at 10:30pm as well as Real de Banjul’s battle with Gamtel at 10:30pm on Saturday and the derby match between Banjul United and Waa Banjul on Sunday at 9pm.
