The attention of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) has been drawn to a story published on social media where the publishers, Gam Football Fans TV, has claimed that Football House has received nine million dollars of funds between the periods 2016 – 2022 but couldn’t still deliver a single stadium for Gambia.
It is important to note that FIFA funds received by its Member Associations, Gambia inclusive, is categorised under several facets of football development which includes operational support and infrastructure.
Football House has on several occasions attempted to educate the public on the said matter in order to dispel the several unfounded allegations and innuendos against the institution. However, to date, all efforts proved difficult because most of the people spewing these unfounded stories about the GFF are either bent on staining the reputation of the Federation or a deliberate attempt to ill-inform the public, thereby creating an unfounded narrative.
