The national women’s second division league will also resume this weekend after a long Ramadan break with four matches taking place at the Kitty football grounds between Friday and Sunday.

The nine-team league went into the break with five teams tied at the top of the log with six points apiece, even though some teams have played more than the others.

The first match of the weekend will see third place Raptim, with a maximum six points from two matches, entertain Koita FC, who have a similar number of points but played a game more.

Two matches are scheduled for Saturday when Prisons entertain Harts FC in the early kickoff at 3pm before Future Bi takes on Jeshwang United at 5pm. Prison is seventh on three points from as many matches played, whereas Hart FC is at the base of the table without a point. Future Bi, sixth, have three points after losing two of their previous three matches, whereas fourth placed Jeshwang lost only one of their three games and are on six points.

Sunday will feature only one match when Greater Tomorrow of Brikama, in fifth, meets table toppers Berewuleng. Both teams are on six points, though Berewuleng have a game in hand.
