Gambia Home Based national Team better called CHAN continue to brace up for their home and 1st leg qualifier qualifier to Mali for the African Nations Championship Kenya 2018.
Ahead of their much anticipated match, the local based Scorpions went into a practice match with their senior brothers SCORPIONS on Wednesday 20th June at the GFF National Technical Training Center in Yundum.
The Scorpions’ composition is the remnants of the lads currently on league break and a few others that await for the Koriteh feast while the Home based team is the total selection of the country’s array of stars scouted from the domestic league.
Musa Barrow scored for the professionals while Adama Jammeh equaled the scoring for the locos and thus ending the warm up to a one all draw.
Meanwhile, the team will again return to the pitch with the Scorpions for their second warm up game on Friday June 22nd at the GFF Technical Training Center in Yundum. This is all but to hone the skills of the CHAN team in readiness to host Mali for the qualifier in July for a place at the African Nations Championship tournament to be staged in Nairobi, Kenya 2018.
