There were goals galore in the Kanifing regional third division league with 21 goals scored across nine different fixtures, an average of more than two goals per game.
The league is divided into two groups of 10 teams each and the overall champions at the end of the season will represent the region in the national second division league for the 2021/22 season.
In Group A, Kanifing East Bi moved to joint top of the table with a 3-0 thumping win over Flamenins. They have 13 points from seven matches, the same number of points with LK Boys and Universal Sporting Boys who were respective 1-0 winners over Superstars Academy and BK West.
Elsewhere, New Town XI and Blue Stars played to pulsating 2-2 draw while the match between Manduk FC and Serekunda United was postponed. Blue Stars is just two points adrift of the leading trio but have played a game more with BK West and Newtown XI occupying fifth and sixth place respectively.
Meanwhile in Group B, leaders Bakau Komani were held to a 1-1 draw by Union United, while Manjai United were thumped 4-0 by Pell Sall Villa FC, and Masita FC defeated Football Heroes 1-0. Orange Stars and Samger B drew 1-1.
Bakau Komani continue to lead the way in that group after tallying an impressive 20 points from a possible 24. Football Heroes is second but five points off the pace followed by Bakau United and Masita FC on 11 points each. Union United, Pell Sall Villa and Orange Stars all have 10 points while Prisons FC are eighth on nine points.
