As part of its quest to build the capacity of all stakeholders across the different spectrum of the football development pyramid, The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) on Monday kick started a seven-day D License Coaching Course for the North Bank Region in Badibou Kerewan.
The course brought together 30 participants who are plying their trade in the North Bank Regional Football Association third division league in both the men and women category as well as coaches from the various districts of the Region.
The course, which got underway in the form of an opening ceremony is spearheaded by the Technical Department of the GFF, under the leadership of Technical Director Mr. Sang John Ndong. Also, part of the team is the Youth & Grassroots Football Manager, Mr. Ebrima Nyassi.
The course instructor is former Gambia U-17 Coach Mr. Lamin Sambou, with ex-Real de Banjul gaffer Alhagie Amat Cham serving as the course director and to be assisted by Mr. Bubacarr Boris Demba the GFF regional coach posted in the North Bank.
The course will come to an end on 11th April, 2021.
