The domestic top flight league enters week four with Falcons continuing their invincible start to life in the first division with yet another impressive win on Friday.

The Blue Army trounced Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) 5-3 in a match played at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum. The victory saw Lamin Sanneh’s charges moved to the top of the table with 10 points from their opening four fixtures.

Elsewhere, Brikama United got their season on track by securing their first win of the campaign following a 2-0 defeat of Elite United in the 8pm kick-off at Bakau’s Independence Stadium. Brikama is on six points now having played goalless stalemates in the previous three matches before this encounter.

Wallidan also came from behind to beat Steve Biko 2-1 in the final match of the night. The win ensured the Blues leapfrogged Real de Banjul into second place for at least 24 hours, pending the outcome of Sunday’s derby between Real and Hawks.
