GFF League Div Two have entered into Week Five with four matches that resumed on Thursday 9th January 2020 with Falcons FC winning on a quick kick off against Samger 2-0 to become the new leaders on the table summit with 10 points.
Falcons will remember to felicitate Bakary Touray for his sterling first half brace that helped the newly promoted side to ease up pressure from erstwhile top tier side Samger FC when he scored both goals to clinch all the points. After a below par performance in the first half against rock bottom side East Bi, gaffer lamin Sanneh metamorphosed to a seemingly ruthless formation as he tasked his charges to a non defeat outcome that he emphatically outlined as an end result.

Baks opened his scoring three minutes after the kick off of proceedings thanks to a teasing cross from National U-17 full back Fakebba Jammeh with his marauding run from the back credited by his Coach for the control of dead ball situations.
Touray doubled the lead 23 minutes for the Blues running with the Three points against the Academy Boys just at the crunch as Samger were nearly to assault but thanks to a clinical defending method that thwarted their efforts in the Falcons area.
Sharing possession in the later part of the second stanza, Falcons repossessed and came close to inflicting further woes to Samger through Fakebba Jammeh who could have made more troubles before going into the break but he could only miss from a close range after been so hesitant at goal.
Samger failed to reduce the deficit in the 41st Minute with a poor finishing that went wayward to the Falcons post and thus added more to their Week Five nightmare and went into the break.
Samger resumed from the break with great intent and competitiveness in search of a smile  while Falcons defended their healthy lead and pushed uc further to inflict more damage against their former league leaders. As if they would have reduced the deficit in the 77th minutes, Samger missed their converted kick and grew more frustrations for they missed a possible last minute chance to come from behind.
With the win, Falcons lead with 10 points at the end of Match Day Five jointly followed by Latri Kunda Utd also on 10points
