Former Gambia Coach Luciano Mancini has sent a message of condolence to The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) on the demise of ex-National Team player and gaffer Peter Bonu Johnson.

Johnson died on July 28th 2019 and was laid to rest on Monday 5th August in Gambia. Now, Mancini, who worked with Bonu both as his boss and assistant described the deceased as an exceptional human being.

“Saddened by the news of the disappearance of my great collaborator Peter Bonu [Johnson]. Exceptional person with a sense of ethical and professional conduct of the highest level. I express the most heartfelt condolences to the family and to the GFF and Ministry of the Youth and Sports.  A big greeting to all,” Mancini wrote.
