JOB VACANCY – FOOTBALL HOTEL

 POSITION TITLE: HOTEL GENERAL MANAGER

REPORTS TO: BOARD OF DIRECTORS

EDUCATION:

MSc in Tourism and Hotel Management/Business Administration

EXPERIENCE:

At least 5 to 10 years managerial experience in the hospitality industry is required, with proven success in leadership roles. Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

Additional skills/ Responsibilities but not limited to the following:

  1. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: negotiation, and interpersonal skills are necessary to manage the staff, communicate with guests, and develop relationships with vendors.
  2. Strong financial management skills: including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management, are essential for the hotel’s success.
  3. Guest Focus: with a commitment to providing the best possible guest experience.
  4. Ability to Lead: must have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire their teams to achieve the hotel’s goals.
  5. Operational Knowledge: expertise in overall hotel operations and the ability to oversee day-to-day activities, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  6. Industry Knowledge: including market trends, regulations, and best practices.
  7. Technology Skills: familiar with hotel management software, social media marketing tools, and online reputation management is essential.
  8. Multitasking and Time Management Skills: the ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize time effectively is necessary to be successful in the role of Hotel General Manager.
