The Gambia Football Federation has an additional member appointed into the CAF Standing Committee for Youth Africa Cup of Nations.
Mr Bakary K Jammeh, GFF ExCO Member is number 9 on the merit list of the 30 member composition for the Total U-17, U-20 and U-23 Africa Cup of Nations Organising Committee. The Standing Committee list was revealed recently by CAF and Mr Jammeh and his colleagues will stay in the cycle from 2017-2019.
The Committee is headed by South Africa’s Danny Jordaan as President, Almamy Kabele Camara of Guinea Conakry as 1st Vice President and also includes Ghana’s Abedi Pele and former Morocco international Mustapha Hadji.
Mr Jammeh was previously in the CAF Audit Committee until the change of affairs at the helm of the continental body.
The Standing Committee lists also has GFF President Lamin Kabba Bajo been appointed into the Organizing Committee of the CAF Flagship tournament Total Africa Cup of Nations. Mr Bajo has now been joined by his colleague ExCO member Bakary K Jammeh as a CAF Standing Committee member.
