The domestic second division got underway with PSV Wellingara amongst the teams to have secured wins in their opening matches.

He said losing by just the odd goal wasn’t a bad thing in your ever match in the national league, but however, hastened to add that it will spur them to prepare better for what lies ahead.

His counterpart on the bench for PSV, Kebba Van Sawaneh, said he was proud of the performance of his players. He affirmed that the goal for them this season is to return to the elites of Gambian football by earning promotion to the top flight.
