It has come to the attention of the Gambia Football Federation that certain individuals are selling unauthorized Replica of Gambia National Team (Scorpions) official Saller Jerseys with both the GFF and CAF Logs inscribed on them. The culprits have gone to the extend of advertising sale of the said products on social media and claiming that they were “Official” Jerseys.
In this regard, the GFF is hereby warning those involved in this illegal act to immediately desist from it as failure to do so will result to legal action being instituted against them. Consequently, the general public is being advised not to encourage the illegal act by refraining from buying the said Jerseys.
The Gambia Football Federation wishes to further inform the general public that it has signed a 3 year Contract with German Sportswear Company, SALLER for the production of its National Team gears. Part of the contract is the production of Replica Jerseys, and arrangements are advanced for the delivery and marketing of the products by the GFF, both locally and internationally.
It is an indisputable fact that whilst the GFF has sole authority over the production, marketing, sale and distribution of it LOGO, so are CAF with its Logo and SALLER with its Brand Name. Therefore, the three have the prerogative of taking legal action against anyone who produces and, or sells these products without official authority both locally and internationally.
