The General Secretary of the Gambia Football Federation ( GFF ) says its proposed friendly international match with Central African Republic ( CAR ) schedule for FRIDAY March 23rd is still on course.
Lamin M Jassey says this reminder is against recent social media reports indicating The Gambia VS Algeria scheduled for March. ‘ There is no Gambia VS Algeria game in March’. Jassey said. 
GFF reiterates that there is no such match for the Gambia until in September when the Scorpions will resume their 2019 AfCON Qualifiers at home to the Desert Foxes. ‘ As at now, the main preoccupation for the GFF is the friendly international match scheduled for March 23rd in Banjul and there is no other match as Gambia VS Algeria as we see in social media reports’, GFF General Secretary reconfirmed.
The Scorpions Head Coach is currently finalizing the release of the squad list and would be announced to the general public pretty soon
