Leaders Red Scorpions continue their impressive run in the women first division with a narrow 1-0 defeat of Abuko United to get week 12 of the season underway. It was a keenly contested affair between the two teams.

The struggle for City Girls shows no sign of abating as they suffered a second straight loss in as many games after they succumbed 1-0 to traditional powerhouses Interior Football Club. In the other week 12 game, Immigration and The Gambia Armed Forces played out a goalless stalemate.

Elsewhere in the women second division, the competition entered week 15 at the weekend and the first to get on the act was Jeshwang United who were held to a 1-1 draw by Jam City. Brikama United stunned Kinteh’s with a 1-0 win, while Greater Tomorrow and Future Bi drew 1-1. The final game of the week saw and Berewuleng defeated Raptim 1-0.
