Further to our earlier announcement made on Sunday June, 10, and published on the Point Newspaper on its Monday 11th June, 2018, edition, The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) wishes to remind its stakeholders and the general public that nominations are still opened for the 2018 GFF Elective Congress which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 18th August 2018 at the Football Hotel in Old Yundum, West Coast Region.
Nomination papers can now be collected at The Gambia Football House in Kanifing East Layout from Monday, 11th June, 2018, during official working hours. Nominations will be closed on Thursday the 19 July at 12 noon, as per the GFF Constitution and Electoral Code.
This year’s elective congress will elect a new leadership for the Federation with a new four-year mandate with the mandate of the current Executive Committee coming to an end in September, 2018.
Please be further reminded that all matters relating to the Elective Congress are under the purview of the GFF Electoral Committee that has been elected by stakeholders at this year’s Extraordinary General Assembly held on Saturday 17th February, 2018 at the Football Hotel. The Elective Congress will be held under the terms and conditions of the GFF Electoral Code, approved by its members and FIFA.
