The Banjul Regional Football Association third division reaches its climax with Police Football Club taking on NAWEC in the finals on Saturday 18th May 2019 at the King George V (KG5) Mini Stadium in Banjul. The match would determine who earns the right to represent the Banjul region in The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) national third division triangular qualifiers for a place in the domestic second division. The qualifiers will bring together all the champions of each of the seven administrative regions with only two places up for grab.

The Gambia Police Force (Police) will face the National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC) after both sides had secured impressive runs in the third division in the capital city. Both Police and NAWEC will be looking for their maiden campaign in the Gambian second tier but they must first overcome the hurdle at the regional level before they can think of a place in what would promise to be an enthralling and scintillating national qualifiers.

The final is expected to be graced by the Executive Committee Members of the GFF, whose delegation would be led by its President Rtd. Captain Lamin Kaba Bajo, members of the Banjul Regional Football Association and Banjul Sports Committee amongst others.
