The First Vice President of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF), Mr. Bakary K. Jammeh will commission his third match at the African U-20 Cup of Nations currently underway in Niger, when Nigeria takes on South African in the third and fourth place playoff match this Saturday.

The match that will be played at Niamey’s Stade General Senyi Kountche will kick off at 16:30 GMT. The two teams will be joined by Senegal and Mali that as the continent’s representatives at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland in May this year. Mr. Jammeh, a member of the CAF Junior Competitions Organising Committee had earlier commissioned two matches in the competition.

Mali and Senegal will play in the finals of the competition on Sunday at the Stade General Senyi Kountche. Senegal defeated South Africa 1-0 in the semifinals while Mali show off the challenge of Nigeria in the post-match penalty shootout following a 1-1 stalemate.
