As part of the new restructuring process of the Federation, the General Secretary of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF), Mr. Lamin M. Jassey, today welcomed two new staff to Football House at its Kanifing East Layout Secretariat.
The new staff are Dr. Demba K. Darboe who is appointed as the Human Resources & Administration Manager and Mr. Baba Saidykhan the Compliance (Audit) Manager. The duo are employed at Football House after having gone through a rigorous recruitment process.
Dr. Darboe has a Doctorate Degree in Peace & Conflict Transformation and a double Masters in Business Administration, and Development Studies in Peace Building & Conflict Transformation. Until his appointment with the GFF, he was the Director of LAC Debo Tours, Accra, Ghana. He was also the Regional Financial Consultant for the Liberty And Policy Innovation.
Mr. Baba Saidykhan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and a Diploma in Arabic Language. He was the Assistant Audit Manager at the Social Security & Housing Finance Corporation. He once served as the Internal Auditor of the defunct Observer Company Gambia Ltd.
