GFF Second Round of League Div One kicks off on Friday 13th March 2020 with leaders Real De Banjul and bottom club Elite United at the Banjul Mini Stadium to face off each other. This heralds the end of the League recess for another heavy dose of intriguing matches for the final stanza.

The Whites are currently five points clear on top of the standings and could further strengthen their grip at the summit of the GFF Division One League when they take on the struggling Elite United, who are currently at the rock bottom with only 8 points from a possible 13 games, during which they had only won once 2-1 win over fellow strugglers BK Milan back in December last year.

Other games will kick off on Saturday between third placed Gamtel FC and Hawks, currently 7th, while 11th place Fortune United takes on current champions Brikama United, who have struggled to replicate their triumphant ascendancy to claim their second league title last season. They are currently 9th on the table with 14 points to show for their half season troubles.

Marimoo and Banjul United will also square off on Sunday at the Banjul mini stadium. Meanwhile 8th placed Wallidan will take on Tallinding United on Monday afternoon, who are currently 10th on the twelve team table.

The other games on Monday also includes that of relegation threatened BK Milan vs the New boys from the block Waa Banjul with their impressive adaptation to the top flight following their promotion last June. The City based side are currently 4th on the table, with 21 points and are the only team yet to loose a game in the Premier League, although they have drawn 9 out of the 13 games they’ve played so far.
