Following the completion of The Gambia Football Federation’s domestic football competitions, the National Women’s U-20 Team is billed for two international friendly matches at home to their counterparts from Liberia scheduled for the 6th and 9th August, 2019.
The Young Women’s Scorpions will show up for the two legged ties to hone their skills in preparation for their eventual continental engagements. Speaking to the Federation website www.gambiaff.org, Head Coach Foday Bah said the friendly is also meant to keep together the girls in form and to also promote and develop women’s and grassroots football in The Gambia.
The double headers will both be played at the Independence Stadium with kick off at 6pm.
The GFF Organising Committee in collaboration with the Events Management Committee charged with the logistical arrangements of the matches have announced that tickets for the Tuesday and Friday matches would be as reasonable for all sectors of the society.
