Goals from Patrick Sylva and Lasana Jaiteh in the eight and 19th minutes saw the Petroleum Boys took a two-goal cushion. However, the Giant Killers rallied back to restore parity with goals from Abdoulie Manneh in first half stoppage time before Ousman Manneh completed the comeback five minutes into the second half.
Elsewhere, Waa Banjul recorded what is only their second win in 11 games, defeating Team Rhino 1-0 in Banjul. Brikama United and PSV Wellingara played an entertaining 1-1 draw in Brikama. Sainey Marong scored for PSV while Sainey Bojang got Brikama’s to ensure a share of the spoils.
