The Gambia Football Federation domestic second division league will resume today following the Eid ul-Fitr break.
Week 19 will take center stage with two matches billed for the day starting with the meeting of ninth and 10th place as PSV Wellingara entertains Bomabada at the Live Your Dreams Sports Academy Complex in Basori at 4 pm. Both teams are leveled on 22 points with the former leading because of their better goal difference.
Meanwhile, leaders Falcons will be looking to extend their lead when they face fourth place Team Rhino at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum. The Blue Army currently lead the 16-team table by two points while their opponents are a further seven points off the pace.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, B4U Kiang West and Young Africans will battle for points as both sides are in the bottom half of the table at the Soma Mini Stadium. Young Africans are a solitary point ahead of their Kiang counterparts with 21 points and occupy 11th place.
Seventh place Steve Biko will host Gunjur United at the Independence Stadium in Bakau. The Giant Killers are on 23 points, five behind Gunjur. Elsewhere, on the same day, second place Samger will be favorites when they take on bottom side 2nd Infantry Battalion of Farafenni at the Late Ousman Saho Field. The third and final game of the day will see eighth place Red Hawks entertain Jam City in third at the Late Ousman Saho Field.
Meanwhile, on Thursday the final matches will be played to cap off the week. Latrikunda United and Jarra West will battle it out at the Late Ousman Saho Field while Serekunda East Bi host relegation threatened Immigration at the Independence Stadium.
