Main duties
·         Providing operational support to the Development Manager

·         Supporting the implementation of the FIFA Forward programme in West and Central Africa

·         Supporting the Member Associations Division in filing applications

·         Providing assistance to the MAs in West and central Africa in preparing FORWARD applications and in servicing the Member Associations

·         Monitoring internal process of documentation and evaluation of project application

·         Providing regular status reports to the Director MAs Africa and Carribean

·         Monitoring process of development projects

·         Participating in workshops, congresses, meetings and seminars

Requirements
Specialised qualifications
(expertise, operating methods, operating procedures, language skills, general knowledge of FIFA, planning, organising etc.)
·         University Degree (Master’s degree preferable)

·         Experience in project management and/or in football and/or grassroots development and football administration at confederation or MA level.

·         Experience in working in an international or sport environment (international organisation; NGO; international sport federation)

·         Experience in multicultural working environment

·         Good sense of planning and organisation of activities

·         Excellent language skills (spoken and written) in  English and French . Knowledge of Spanish and portubuese is preferable.

·         Good competence of MS Office , social media, e-learning and web based applications

The employee is responsible for
·         Management of FORWARD applications in West and Central Africa  comprising 24 Member Associations ·         Controls documentation

·         Handles the internal process of applications

·         Drafts recommendations for the applications

·         Drafts reports on applications and on development projects of a Member Association

·         Drafts reports and communication letters

·         Assists the Development Manager in the FIFA Regional Office in Dakar

 

Assists in organisation of congresses, workshops, meetings and seminars.

 

·         Member Associations development projects ·         Investigates and evaluates development needs and necessities of Member Associations

·      Prepares presentations and drafts instructions for improving developing strategy of Members Associations

·      Participates in workshops and seminars

·      Monitors running projects and

·      Reports on projects issues and progress
