Scorpions Captain and defender Pa Modou Jange ( Nda) has re-signed a year long deal with his former club FC Zurich. The 28 time Gambian international moved in the summer of 2017 from FC Sion to the city club, where he scored four goals and nine assists in 61 competitive matches. Most recently the Scorpions Captain kept fit in the second team of Zurich.
Reacting to his return Nda said he is happy to be back at his former club. “I am very grateful to be back at Zurich. Its a club where i spent two years and the treatment i received there was great and the fans love me well”. He said his team mates and the Coach all love to see him back. ” The fans really love me and they keep sending me messages to return and when the news broke, they were all happy” , he noted.
At the sidelines of the Scorpions second day of training at the Independence Stadium, Nda urged fans to turn out in great numbers to cheer up the National team. ” We are all prepared and will do the job on the pitch while the fans should also come out to support just like the Algeria game”. He said the players are all motivated because of the support from the GFF. “We are prepared because its high time for us to qualify and you will see a different thing on Friday but the important thing is to qualify and we will make sure that we qualify”.
