Gambia Women’s Scorpions are winding their preparation as they take on Nigeria’s Super Falcons at mid week on Wednesday June 6th in the second and final round of Qualifier Matches for the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations Ghana, 2018.
The Gambia seeks to fight for a place at the next edition of the Africa Women’s flagship tournament after the Women’s Scorpions edged out Burkina Faso 3-2 on aggregate to now face off Africa’s serial champions Nigeria for the first time between the two countries.
Meanwhile, the Super Falcons arrived in Banjul on Monday June 4th and also acclimatizing with training at the National Technical Training Center in Yundum and Independence Stadium in Bakau.
The GFF Events Management Committee ( EMC ) says entry tickets for the match is absolutely free and the game will kick off at 16:00hrs at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
The Gambia is camped at the Football Hotel in Yundum with 21 players and 7 Officials.
