Contrary to the statement made by the proprietor of Seaview Gardens Hotel, Mr. Hatib Janneh Jnr, that the Gambia Football Federation has decided to lodge the Senior National Team at his hotel for this month’s Afcon qualifier at home to Benin, Football House wants to rebuke those lies in no uncertain terms.
We’ve not visited his Hotel, neither have we sent anyone to make reservations for us there. In fact the GFF is please to announce that the Ministry of Youth and Sports is this time responsible for the air ticket and accommodation of the players and as a result would decide which hotel the boys would be lodged at and not us.
Football House further wishes to reiterate that it’s position with regard to Seaview Hotel remains unchanged and so long we’re responsible for the lodging of the players, we won’t send our players there unless all our complains and concerns are addressed fully
