CAF U-15 Girls 7Aside Tournament Enters Second Round

The CAF U15 Girls 7Aside tournament organized by the Gambia Football Federation has entered into it’s Second round of matches currently underway at the National Technical Training center in Yundum.
The Round is producing interesting outcome of results with eight (8) Schools not short of goals galore. Interestingly some notable names like Brikama, St Joseph’s, New Yundum and Campama are all unable to get a single goal in the current round at the expense of their counterpart schools.
Meanwhile, Kembujeh has registered a total of 5 goals been the highest in the round while Bakoteh Annex nets 3, Tallinding Annex and Tallinding Lower Basic Schools both held on single goals.

The tournament continues with Round Three coming up next week which will subsequently be followed by a Football Jamboree.
The CAF U-15 Girls tournament is the first time been introduced by the continental body and is piloted in Sixteen Member countries the Gambia been one of the active beneficiaries. It is aimed to engage U15 Girls which will later be scouted for a sustainable cream of players who could graduate to the respective categories of National U17, U20, and finally to the Senior National Team.
